(Pichani Bi Nafissatou Diallo)

Updated, 4:01 p.m. Prosecutors in the office of Cyrus R. Vance Jr., the Manhattan district attorney, have filed papers requesting that all charges be dropped against Dominique Strauss-Kahn, the former head of the International Monetary Fund.
The papers, known as a dismissal on recommendation, were filed at 3:20 p.m. Monday afternoon in Manhattan Supreme Court.
At about the same time, the lawyer for Nafissatou Diallo, the hotel housekeeper who accused Mr. Strauss-Kahn of sexual assault, emerged from a brief meeting with prosecutors to offer harsh criticism of Mr. Vance.
The meeting was presumably held to inform Ms. Diallo and her lawyer, Kenneth P. Thompson, of the office’s intention to drop the charges.
“The Manhattan district attorney, Cyrus Vance, has denied the right of a woman to get justice in a rape case,” Mr. Thompson said. “He has not only turned his back on this victim but he has also turned his back on the forensic, medical and other physical evidence in this case. If the Manhattan district attorney, who is elected to protect our mothers, our daughters, our sisters, our wives and our loved ones, is not going to stand up for them when they’re raped or sexually assaulted, who will?”
Ms. Diallo stood by his side, but said nothing.
Mr. Strauss-Kahn’s lawyers, William W. Taylor III and Benjamin Brafman, said in a statement:
“We have maintained from the beginning of this case that our client is innocent. We also maintained that there were many reasons to believe that Mr. Strauss-Kahn’s accuser was not credible. Mr. Strauss-Kahn and his family are grateful that the District Attorney’s office took our concerns seriously and concluded on its own that this case cannot proceed further. We look forward to attending the hearing on Tuesday.”
A chaotic scene unfolded outside the Louis J. Lefkowitz State Office Building, where the meeting between Ms. Diallo’s team and prosecutors took place, with reporters and onlookers lining both sides of Centre Street.
Ms. Diallo had not met with prosecutors in nearly a month, the last time being on July 27 when she went to their office to listen to recordings of telephone conversations she had with a man in an Arizona jail. Prosecutors have said that the recordings showed that Ms. Diallo was talking about exploiting Mr. Strauss-Kahn’s wealth. But Mr. Thompson said that his client never raised the subject of getting money from Mr. Strauss-Kahn during the conversations, in which Ms. Diallo and the man spoke in Fulani, a language of Ms. Diallo’s native Guinea.
The difference in opinion over the substance of the conversation was just one of many points of contention between Mr. Thompson and the district attorney’s office. The relationship between them has deteriorated since prosecutors said in late June that they believed Ms. Diallo had lied to them about several things in her personal life and background.
Mr. Thompson has urged prosecutors to press forward with the criminal case, arguing that physical evidence and other factors outweighed his client’s credibility problems. Ms. Diallo has said that Mr. Strauss-Kahn tried to rape her and then forced her to perform oral sex when she went to clean his suite at the Sofitel New York in mid-May.
But prosecutors have determined that Ms. Diallo had been too untruthful with them to stand up to cross examination if the case were to go to trial. She lied about her past in Guinea on her asylum application and she told prosecutors in an interview a false story about being gang raped in her native country, prosecutors have said.
In their letter to Mr. Thompson, prosecutors said that at Monday’s meeting they would explain how they would proceed at Tuesday’s hearing before Justice Michael J. Obus of State Supreme Court in Manhattan.
Several elected officials and women’s groups planned to hold rallies in front of the courthouse Monday afternoon to urge Mr. Vance to go forward with the case.
(Pichani Bi Nafissatou Diallo)

No huyo Mzee Strauss-Kahn apunguze nyege zake. Nyege ndo zimeponza!
Pole zake Bi Diallo.

Former International Monetary Fund chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn will no longer face criminal charges related to allegations that he sexually assaulted a hotel housekeeper, the housekeeper's attorney said Monday after meeting with prosecutors.
A grand jury indicted Strauss-Kahn in May on charges that he sexually assaulted housekeeper Nafissatou Diallo at his luxury New York hotel suite. Strauss-Kahn's attorneys have insisted that any sexual encounter was consensual.
A judge freed Strauss-Kahn on July 1 after prosecutors learned Diallo had lied about the specifics of her whereabouts after the incident and past details of an asylum application and information on tax forms.

Devout Muslim woman who dresses as a Westerner. An unmarried imam's daughter, who was well versed and trained on how to get an entrance to US and very well placed at the international hotel Sofitel. She says that she is illiterate but it has been proven that she managed to commit tax fraud by claiming two extra children and underreporting her income. A person who is associated with a convicted drug dealer who laundered money through her bank accounts.
ReplyDeleteShe looks like sleeping agent of a terrorist cell who is eager to fleece a wealthy Jew from France to finance the future terrorist acts on US soil. Perhaps an explosion at the hotel Sofitel, or even a bomb at the Christian Cultural Center, a mega church in New York, that supports her. As you know, a Muslim can pretend to befriend infidels (in violation of the teachings of Islam) by lying to non-Muslims in order to be able to operate freely amongst enemies... Unlike most religions, within Islam there are certain provisions under which lying is not simply tolerated, but actually encouraged. It is also clear that if forced to do so, Muslims can lie while under oath...
And she has already reportedly lied under oath when she testified to the grand jury.
You have to be blind to support this serial liar.
Kismet you know nothing about islam and muslims as well. She is not a terrorist; she is poor that's why no one cares(as always white people do not care about blacks). There are so many American (WH&BLA) who commit tax fraud. Don't ever say Muslims are terrorists; it seems to me that you are racist and empty minded .What about Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols?
ReplyDeleteStrauss-Kahn is now Diallo's cash cow. She willnever have to work again as she is making money from sympathizers, talk shows etc. Lets see how much her lawyer milks Strauss-Kahn for.
Kwani civil case unahitaji kuprove at least more than 50% wakati kwenye criminal case ni more than 98% beyond reasonable doubt.
She aint that stupid!
She might also be used as a pawn in a political game. I bet jamaa walikuwa wanarekodi every move, na ikiwa atashinda kiti cha urais huko France he will always play to their tune! Ila masikini dada wa watu her life will never be the same!
His dignity and honours have never been restored kwa sababu ni kweli they had sex in that room, wether concensus or forced that is another story. I dont see any dignity or honour for a cheating husband.
ReplyDeleteMnyonge haina haki!
