Indeed, many many steps backwards! THE MIND BOGGLES! I wouldn't be surprised, if these girls start 'performing' their so-called music in the nude~ BUCK NAKED! Such a shame and a pity, to think about the blood, sweat and tears shed by suffragettes, and other people who fought for, and continue to fight for EQUAL RIGHTS FOR WOMEN. Sometimes, I do despair! These girls have NO SELF-RESPECT, and are disillusioned, in thinking that LESS is MORE; and that 'talent' is based on HOW LITTLE ONE WEARS. Shame on them! Damn! Damn! Damn!
And to think that today (March 8th) is INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY!
The UN theme for International Women's Day 2015 is "Empowering Women, Empowering Humanity: Picture it!".... Make it happen...
I'm a woman, btw, and I'm ashamed of the way these young girls (ladies?) are wasting their opportunity in using their high profiles, to better the cause of women the world over.
I worked for Tanzania's Daily News for 11 years leaving as a Senior Reporter. I love acting, films, short story writing and cooking. I blog in English and Swahili. I am a member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and AFTRA.
