Kuna mtu ameposti hii picha mtandaoni akidai aliyesimama ni Mh. Spika Mstaafu wa Bunge la Tanzania, Mrs. Anna Makinda. Si kweli, aliyesimama ni Mama yangu mzazi Mrs. Rita Che-Mponda. Picha ilipigwa mwaka 1965, Biti Titi alivyokuja Marekani kwenye mkutano wa akina Mama. Baba alimwalika nyumbani, Washington D.C. kwa ajili ya chakula na mahojiano.
CORRECTING THE RECORD - SAHIHISHO!!
Since last night, there has been a photo of my Mom with the Late Pioneer Female Leader of Tanzania, Bibi Titi Mohamed. My Mom is identified as a young Former Speak of the Tanzania Parliament, Mama Anna Makinda.
I'd like people to see the original photo that was cropped by someone. The young lady standing is my mother, Mrs. Rita Che-Mponda and NOT Mh. Mama Anna Makinda.
The photo was taken in 1965, Bibi Titi was in the USA for a Women's Meeting. My father was an Announcer at the Voice of America - Swahili Service at the time, He invited Bibi Titi to the house and interviewed. I originally published in my 'Swahili Time Blog' in 2010.
