Doh! Wazungu wa nchi kadhaa na waKorea (Korea Kusini) wameukata. Rais Bush ametangaza kuwa sasa watu wanaotoka nchi fulani na fulani hawahitaji visa kuingia Marekani. Ila itabidi wajiandikishe kwenye internet kabla ya kusafiri kuja Marekani.
Nilidhani kuwa kwa vile Bush alipenda sana Tanzania alivyokuwa huko angeondoa visa kwa waBongo. Ndoto hiyo!

Bush announces visa waiver for 7 countries

President Bush has announced that the United States is rescinding visa requirements for citizens of seven countries.
Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and South Korea will be added to the U.S. visa waiver program in about a month. Each of those countries allows U.S. citizens to visit without obtaining a visa.
Some lawmakers are worried that visa waivers could make it easier for terrorists to slip into the United States. But Bush says all of the countries added to the list have agreed to take precautions, such as coming up with tamper-proof, biometric passports that are difficult to forge.
Before today's announcement, the visa waiver program included 27 countries, including most of Western Europe. Exclusion has been a sore point among some new NATO allies that have supported U.S. operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Mwe hata mie ningetaka hao wakorea kusini waje nchini kwangu bila visa, watu wana akili kama nini! Tena hao watu wa Asia si ndio zamani walikuwa wanakwenda kusoma huko kwa makundi kisha wanarudi kwao kuimplement technology walizoiba! Si mjinga kuondoa visa kwa nchi hizo. Haya wabongo tutapeleka nini zaidi ya umaskini mwanawane, aliyenacho huongezewa.
