Askofu Mlemavu Alazimishwa Kutambaa kutoka kwenye ndege Nairobi!!!!

 Jamani, ungedhani Kenya wameendelea katika maswala ya kusaidia wasfiri walemavu.  Hebu ona, Askofu ambaye inabidi atumie wheelchair, alilazimishwa kutambaa wakati kushuka kwenye ndege ya kampuni ya Fly540.  Aibu sana kwa hiyo kampuni kumtesa Askfofu au mtu yeyote mwenye ulemavu. Nchi zlizoendelea zinakuwa na lifti maalum au watu wa kumbeba.  Kama hawana basi serikali inawzuia wasipate leseni!

NairobiNews newspaper lead story today has disclosed how Bishop Jackson Kosgei of Worldwide Gospel Church of Kenya was forced to crawl from the plane after the airline’s staff said they could not help him get down.

According to Nairobi News, Bishop Kosgei says he was ordered to alight on his own by Fly540 attendants when it landed at JKIA from Eldoret in spite of his disability.

He complained about his treatment to JKIA police and OB No 18/11/5/2014 states that the airline staff refused to allow anybody to support him as he disembarked.

In the NairobiNews article,  the bishop said he was helped by the airline staff to board the plane using a lift while at Eldoret International airport.

On arriving at JKIA, he was told by the staff  that the services were not offered and was forced to crawl.

When contacted on Tuesday evening for comment before the story was published, Fly540 chief executive Don Smith said they do not carry people who cannot physically support themselves.
The local airline however, in a statement on its Facebook page on Wednesday, changed tune and claimed that the bishop had refused to be assisted.

Ukatili wa Polisi Florida!

Huko Tampa Florida, polisi wa kike, deputy Charlette Marshall-Jones, 44, alimwaga chini mwanaume aisyejiweza na anayetumia wheelchair.

Huyo Marshall-Jones alimwambia Brian Sterner (32), asimame ingawa alimwona yuko kwenye wheelchair. Sterner alimwambia kuwa hawawezi kusimama ndipo huyo katili Charelette Marshall-Jones, alimwaga chini! Alitenda maovu yaka January 28, 2008 lakini jana ndo waandishi wa habari walizipata na kusambaza habari. Wakuu wa polisi eti hawakuwa na jabari mpaka walipoambiwa na waandishi wa habari!

Sterner ni Quadraplegic. Alipata ajali miaka 14 iliyopita akiwa anacheza wrestling na kuumia shingo. Hawezi kutumia viungo vyake chini ya kifua ndo maana anatumia wheelchair. Hatua ya kishenzi ya huyo mama zingeweza kumwua mgonjwa kama huyo. WaBongo waliopitia home health aide wanajua jinsi ya kuwageuza na kushugilia wagonjwa kama huyo. Ajabu ukiona hiyo video polisi wengine wanacheka!

Kisa cha Sterner kupelekwa Polisi - alikuwa anatuma gari maalum kwa ajili ya maquaraplegic, ilmgomea barabarani. Alikuwa anashitakiwa kwa kuzuia magari kupita.

Kwa sasa watu wanaoiona hiyo video wamechukia mno! Wanataka hatua kali zichukuliwe dhidi ya huyo polisi mshenzi, msimamizi wake na polisi wengine waliokuwepo huyo mama alivyofanya ushenzi wake! Habari zinasema polisi wanne wamesimamishwa kazi kuhusiana na tukio huo. Huyo mama anastahili afukuzwe kazi na afunguliwe mashitaka!

Yaani nchi hii inaoza mpaka watu wanakosa huruma!
