Heko kwa msanii maarufu Tyler Perry kwa kusaidia watoto albino kutoka Tanzania, ambao wanapata matibabu kwa ajili ya majeraha waliopata kutokana na  kukatwa vingo vyao.   Watoto hao albino wako nchini Marekani na watapewa viungo bandia kwa ajili ya kuwasaidia katika maisha yao.  Perry ametoa dola $200,000 kwa ajili ya ujenzi wa nyumba huko New Jersey ambao watoto albino wataweza kufikia wakiwa Marekani.   

Na Tanzania tuko karne gani hadi tunaamini eti ukinywa supu iliyotengenezwa na kiungo cha albino itakufanya uwe tajiri au ushinde nafasi ya uongozi? Aibu sana. Bora dunia ione ushenzi wa Tanzania.  Albino ni bindamu ila amekosa rangi (pigmentation) kwenye ngozi.  Sasa tumekuwa soko kuu ya kuuza viungo vya albino Afrika nzima! Acheni ushenzi na mawazo finyu jamani.  Unaweza kuwa binadamu mwenzio kweli?

ATLANTA (AP) - Tyler Perry recently met with a group of Tanzanian children with albinism who are living in a home the filmmaker helped fund.

   Perry's representative said Monday he donated $200,000 three years ago to help build a four-bedroom house in New Jersey for a group of children who had been mutilated for their body parts. The children attended Perry's "Madea on the Run" play Thursday night at Manhattan's Beacon Theatre, where they met him backstage.

   The children will stay there while they receive medical treatment in the United States.

   Perry donated after watching a special featuring Elissa Montanti, a Staten Island woman who runs the nonprofit Global Medical Relief Fund for children affected by war and natural disasters.

   Montanti recently brought the children with albinism to the U.S. from Tanzania.

Atlanta (CNN) -- A massive fire tore through a building at the southwest Atlanta film studio of Tyler Perry on Tuesday night.


No one was injured, but the blaze caused one building to partially collapse, said Atlanta fire Capt. Jolyon Bundridge.

Officials do not yet know what started the fire.

Perry was at the complex Tuesday night but did not speak to reporters, CNN affiliate WSB-TV reported.

The multi-million dollar studios sit on 60 acres and include five sound stages, a 5-acre pond, a theater, a chapel, a commissary, a gymnasium, Perry's office, an art department where sets are designed, hair and makeup facilities, a wardrobe department, set decoration, a post-production facility and a backlot named 34th Street, "as in Miracle on 34th Street," according to the studio website.

Perry's credits include work as director, writer, producer, actor and playwright.

His TV shows "Meet the Browns" and "House of Payne" are huge moneymakers, as are Perry's wildly popular movies.

Last year, Perry topped Forbes' "Entertainment's Highest-Paid Men" list, raking in $130 million in 12 months beginning in May 2010

Movie producer Tyler Perry says his mother, Willie Maxine Perry, has died at age 64.

Tyler posted a brief notice on his official website, thanking fans for their prayers. He did not mention a cause of death or any other details.

Perry, 40, has said his mother was the basis for his most popular character, Madea. Click here for a great scene from the stage version of "Madea Goes to Jail" to get the idea.

The producer recently commented on plans to "get away from Hollywood for a sec" to clear his head, with a touring production of "Madea's Big Fat Happy Family" that premieres in Denver in January. He's also been very moved by the movie "Precious," he said, on which he is an executive producer.

"If you've never seen a Madea play, then you haven't seen Madea at all," he posted on his site. Click here for a great scene from the stage version of "Madea Goes to Jail."
Maxine was a preschool teacher at the New Orleans Jewish Community Center for most of her life, the Atlanta paper reported.

Perry's publicist did not immediately respond to a phone call from the Associated Press.
