Inasikitisha, unaweza kulia. Tumeshuhudia the same tragedy happened at Mbagala Kizuiani army base armoury, about two years ago.

This irremediable calamity killed at least 33 citizens, caused unexplained disabilities and loss of properties seems not to bring a lesson to our leaders.

When we are about to rub the last tear following the former deadly tragic explosion, the same has recklessness happened tonight and sadly re-opened unhealed wounds.

I wonder if the government along with tpdf learnt the first accident and take it as a way forward to prevent such an episode to re-occur. Till when we will abate a reckless, irrational and malpractices? Till when the top leaders will stop be source of innocent killings? Till when our leaders will learn best practises and incorporate into their institute. Does it need a rocket science to discover the potential risky of 1948 unused bombs which are still kept in our armouries?

Shortly after dawn we will all hear the baseless defence from TPDF and the Government official, as we have heard during the first accident that is not a government fault as they tried their level best to scan planted bombs.

I am positive there will be no one who gonna set himself/herself responsible and accountable for what has happened.

What a stupid and ridiculous Army force and government is, who are not bothered with the safety and health of their populace? Shame on them all.

There is now increasing risk to have even a massive explosion na hivyo kugharimu mamia kama sio maelfu, if an immediate, reasonable and rational move is not implemented. Mungu apitishie mbali.

May all who have been affected receive our heartfelt commiserations, I feel real pities on them.

Those who have lost their lives may the Almighty God place them in her everlasting kingdom Amen.

its a tragedy for those who have lost their friends relatives and families from this careless incident at gongolamboto military base. Its not a good time to start pointing fingers at any one but it real brings sense to us that we can't trust the government we have put in power to protect its citizens from disasters such as these. in fact the mbagala bombings should have been a lesson to the government but because there are too much political than realistic at different problems the nation is facing thats why tanzania will keep on facing such problems until one day when tanzania will take the same decision as the citizens of egypt and tunisia. All departments in the government are covered by political people rather than professionals in their fields thats why there are so many mistakes in their way of tackling problems. a good example are DOWANS and EPA sagas leave alone the power problems we are currently facing. Its time the government to leave politics and recruit professionals in their fields so that when such disasters happen they become accountable.
I am a student at the university of dar es salaam and yesterday when i was in my room at mabibo hostels third floor block c i saw a huge flare busting in the skies.after that it was yellow flame that followed indicating that something was burning. At first me and my friends thought it was a house under fire but as time passed more explosions came in from the distance. you can imagine we are 20 km away from gongolamboto yet we could feel the heat and fear from that side of town. The gravity of the explosions were enough to tell what was happening over there.what a shame for the tanzanian government and TPDF because our international Airport resides there and that will scare the visitors who had intended to come to Tanzania. reports from the radio early in the morning had reported 20 dead at aman hospital but from what i saw at this distance i bet this figure will rise rapidly.
its time of mourning in tanzania and we should pray to GOD to keep us strong and united during these bad times
